AFTER SCHOOL: A Psy-Horror where You Wake Up in Someone Else's Body and Try to Find Some Clues

WARNING: This game is not suitable for children or those who are easily disturbed.

After School is an indie psychological horror game produced by phipenguu and published on August 6th of that year, on the indie gaming platform "itch.io". In After School, you wake up at a school in the late afternoon. In someone else's body. Without knowing who this person is and what they do, you receive help from a mysterious contact on your smartphone, who proposes you to live the daily routine of that body. However, you will gradually discover that the school life of this body may not be as normal as it should be.

We can consider After School more as an experience than a game in fact. The game basically takes you by the hand and makes you go through some places where the story unfolds. The game was created for a Game Jam, INDIE + GDFUNDA, made as a safe space for developers to explore their creativity and ideas.

Graphically, After School is quite simple in its production. This can be seen even in moments where you go to pick up a key and you discover that it is the figure of a locksmith. Another simple aspect is in its gameplay. You only have the typical movements (front, back, both sides), the Tab key to open the smartphone, F to interact and the mouse playing the role of the camera view. Nothing more, nothing less than that.

Perhaps the biggest highlight here is your plot. You end up finding out who the person you are controlling actually was. Undoubtedly it's a complicated subject because it reflects a lot of the real world (I won't give spoilers, but yes, it's a current topic). If you want to know what it's about, you can check out the full gameplay of the game by clicking this link here.
