ALEX KIDD IN MIRACLE WORLD DX: Save Radaxian in this Remake of an 80s Classic SEGA Game
Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is an adventure and platform game produced by Merge Games, in partnership with Jankenteam and scheduled for release on June 22 this year on several platforms (PC, PS series, XBOX series, Nintendo Switch). The game is a remake of the game of the same name, produced by SEGA in 1986 for the Master System. In the game you control Alex Kidd, a young martial arts fighter who discovers that his city, Radaxian, has been taken over by a villain named Janken the Great, as well as having defeated King Thunder and kidnapped Prince Egle and his fiancée Lora. Alex ends up discovering that he himself is the lost son of the king and that is more than enough reason to go on a mission to defeat Janken and save the prince and his bride.
The game is simply the Alex Kidd in Miracle World classic in every aspect: you have the same stages, the same platform style, the same soundtrack, in short, everything. However, the difference starts with the visual aspect: undoubtedly the producers did well here. The game managed to take the simple backdrops of the time and added more beauty and depth to them, making them more visually beautiful. The soundtrack is another positive aspect: all the iconic songs from the classic Master System were arranged, featuring beautiful guitar touches and thus bringing a theme of fun and adventure to the game.
The gameplay is very good and the controls are very fluid, and the level of the challenge still continues: Alex Kidd must break several boxes to get money, use the money to buy things and then proceed on stage, where each stage is greeted with a boss. Enemies don't let up: if he touches one of them, Alex is instantly killed, leading to his return either to the beginning of the level or to a checkpoint.
In addition to all this, the game has an option similar to the remake of Wonderboy: In the Dragon's Trap, produced by DotEmu: with a simple press of a button, you can choose either the look of the remake or the look and retro track, bringing more nostalgia to fans of the young SEGA fighter.
