Apple Sauce Apartments is an interactive fiction indie game produced by Shallow Lagoon and published on May 30th this year, on the indie gaming platform "itch.io". In the game, you receive an order from the owner of the Apple Sauce condominium, which is located in a rural area. Your order is to collect the rent payment from the tenants, but when you get there, you discover things from the tenants that will make you question your employer's methods and disposition.
The game is a kind of visual novel, full of dialogues and with endings that occur according to your choices made. Visually the game is very peculiar, with very strange characters and interesting life stories. In terms of the soundtrack, the music used is cool and reflects the sinister environment of the game, but over time it becomes repetitive and boring.
