Banned Tapes is a first-person PSX horror game developed by NickNickolas where you receive several VHS tapes with a strange desire to create your own horror film using strange videos with supernatural events. However, new VHS tapes appear to you, which makes you reflect on their source.
In Banned Tapes we have interesting visuals and an excellent use of the PSX aesthetic. The gameplay consists of watching short VHS tapes and selecting which ones are appropriate to create your film. While watching the short videos, strange things may or may not happen, and you have to wait until the end. Meanwhile, the plot develops between VHS tapes showing the mysteries of the place.
