DEAD END ROAD: A Ritual goes Wrong and You Must Escape from a Demon in this Horror Game

Dead End Road is an indie simulation and horror game created by DDD Wares and released on the itch.io page on January 12, 2016, and updated on January 4, 2017. In the game, you performed a ritual to fulfill a wish, despite an old witch's warnings not to do it and ended up messing with things you shouldn't have: you awakened a supernatural entity, which chases and torments you all the time. Now you need the old witch's help to get rid of this entity, as she is the only one who knows how to do this.

The game is basically a mixture of SEGA's Outrun and horror in the first person: you cross several cities, trying to spend as little money as possible, in search of three objects requested by the witch. You guide yourself through the map and try to survive the entity's most varied illusions.

The game's visuals have a very low-fi aesthetic, with low-resolution graphics, the use of sprites for some characters, and the VHS filter, which gives a very interesting retro feature. But the most interesting thing about the game is that it works according to the desire you ask for in the initial ritual, leading to a different ending. Illusions and obstacles also change according to the game, which makes the replay factor bigger.

That is, no doubt, an awesome indie game, and worth it playing this. Dead End Road offers an interesting immersion, from controlling the car's steering to the tension generated by the elements of supernatural horror. Check out the gameplay by clicking right here and buy the game on the link below:
