DECONTAMINATION: An Adventure Game Where You Have to Clear Areas in a Post-Apocalyptic World

Decontamination is a first-person adventure game that was produced by KenForest within 72 hours for this year's Ludum Dare, and published on the itch.io platform in April 5th. In Decontamination, an infection emerged on Earth for unknown reasons, and this event not only destroyed a huge part of the planet, it nearly decimated the world's population. The rest of humanity seeks to save the planet and for that a decontamination organization was created. You are one of these people and your objective is to go to different places on the planet to decontaminate the most affected areas.

Visually, Decontamination features low poly graphics with low resolution textures, showing a certain inspiration from PSX games. As for the gameplay, the game is pretty simple: you explore three locations, and depending on the missions, you can use one of three items. Radar is the most used, as it is through it that you can find volcanoes, minerals to be collected, radioactive wells to be drained and frogs to be collected. It is important that you have a small strategy in place, as the location is large, and finding the van to complete the mission can be a huge challenge.
