GEAS: Unravel the Mystery Behind a Room Trapped in a Time Loop in this Puzzle Game
Geas is a short indie first-person puzzle game that is being produced by HoloMoonGames and is currently in the development stage. However, a demo version was published on February 10th of this year and is available on the itch.io platform. Geas is inspired by an Irish monologue titled "Krapp's Last Tape" and, in the game, you find yourself in a time loop, where you travel 50 years in time inside a single room furnished with a tape recorder containing some messages. Your goal is to unravel the room's mysteries while finding a way to break the loop.
The game features a retro low-poly look with serrated graphics, heavily inspired by PSX games. However, the main focus here is on its gameplay: here we have a room where you just need to find the items that are available to solve the puzzles, one per room. Each of them seems to be an important part of the whole story, which in the demo is not well explained. Sometimes, there are situations where you will have to assemble pieces in order to use the tool used to solve the puzzle.
