GOAT: Hunt Goats by Finding Their Tracks Over a Wide Area in this Horror Game

GOAT is a short first-person horror simulation game that was produced by noiseminded and was published on February 27th of this year on the itch.io platform. The game was created in 48 hours for MAD Game Jam 2022, winning first place in the event's awards and, in it, you control a hunter who leaves for the distant lands in the northwest of Portugal, where rumors circulate that the goats there are being hunted and killed, and their heads are taken away to sell as trophies for thousands of euros. Your objective is to find one of these goats, guided by their tracks and their howl.

The game itself is quite simple. The graphics is well done and its look is very reminiscent of PC games from the late 90's. The gameplay isn't full of mechanics, to be honest, you're just placed in an extensive field where you just walk and run. The challenge, however, is in finding the tracks and signaling them, since the field is extensive and you can spend a lot of time walking around to find the exact location.
