LOST LIFE - Act 1: A First-Person Horror Game With Heavy Influences of Silent Hill Series
Lost Life is an indie game of psychological horror in the first person produced by AkioKami and with a development version published on January 16th this year, on the indie games platform "itch.io". In Lost Life, you control a man who woke up in a completely empty city, full of mysteries, and must investigate the causes of this event, while looking for a way to escape from that city.
Right away, you can already see that the game was heavily influenced by Silent Hill in all aspects: the game presents some camera tricks at certain times, worlds on fire, dimensions that are interconnected to each crossed door. In addition, the game features a soundtrack with great influences from the works of Akira Yamaoka.
The gameplay is typical of many indie horror games, simple and intuitive. The graphics have an impressive whimsy and realism. At the moment, only Act 1, entitled "Broken", is available, and acts as a prologue, serving for the player to get used to the game. You can check the gameplay by clicking here.
