MENTAL: A Psychological Horror about a Secret PS1 Game Found by Using a Special Disc

Mental is a short first-person psychological horror indie game produced by Electric Glitch Studios and published on October 31st, 2020, on the indie gaming platform itch.io. Mental is presented to the player as a kind of "lost game" that exists on the PS1, Sony's 32-bit console, and which can only be accessed via a special disk. Upon accessing it, you find yourself in a strange world, with no goal in mind but to explore it.

Mental is a kind of walking simulator, where you walk and explore a strange world, and sometimes come across some strange creature on the way. The game was produced for two game jams (the Spooky Scary Game Jam and the Fluffy Horror Jam). In terms of graphics, the game has the same aesthetics present in PS1 games, such as places and low-poly objects with serrated graphics, but well polished and worked here. Movement and interaction is simple and the game has a basic tutorial to guide you. If I have to put it as a negative point, that point would be the fact that the game is too vague, with no more things happening in that world.
