Okinawa Rush is an action-adventure platform game where you play as one of the martial arts masters Hiro, Meilin or Shin while facing the Black Mantis clan in order to survive. The demo build has only one playable character and an available level with several weapons and abilities available.
The game features graphics with excellent European-style sprite art with some interesting visual effects such as those that distort the screen. Another highlight is the frantic gameplay that requires strategies and patience, because joining a group of ninjas is an guarantee of instant death.
There are elements in the scenarios that are also instant kill like hidden spears that are scattered around the scene and are highlighted with the word "danger". There are also secret passages that can be accessed using certain scams.
