PROTOTYPE N - Download Game
Prototype N is a 2D side-scroller shooting platformer game - similar to Sonic and Megaman - developed by Arrietty where you play as Nadine, a prototype robot girl of unknown origin, who needs to save her home from evil robots while searching for the whereabouts of her creator. Prototype N was presented at the SAGE 2024 Showcase.
In Prototype N we have excellent sprite art work that can be seen both in the in-game assets and in the cutscenes. The entire game has an incredible retro feel and is heavily inspired by games from the Megaman and Sonic The Hedgehog franchises where you clearly see Nadine as a female version of Capcom's blue robot, but with elements within the stages that are very reminiscent of Sega's blue hedgehog. In addition, the gameplay is very well done and everything seems to work very well. It is very enjoyable to blow up robots while collecting as many gems scattered throughout the stages and several secrets that can be discovered using specific weapons in certain parts of the scenario.
Prototype N is truly a game with a lot of nostalgia, gameplay full of action and secrets that mixes the best of famous franchises, bringing a protagonist full of charisma that will certainly please even older players.
