TALARA: Find a Way to Heal the Wounds of Your Past in this Simulation Game
Talara is an indie game produced by EstudioMauve and has a demo version published on February 8th this year, on the indie gaming platform "itch.io". In Talara, you control a young girl who travels to the south of Argentina, towards the house where she spent her childhood. During the trip, you are faced with memories of your past, with wounds that still hurt in your memory. It is up to you to find a way to heal such wounds and reorganize your life.
The game is a simulation with a greater focus on narrative. You walk through several stops during the trip. Each point takes you to a specific part of the protagonist's life where the trauma happened, and there are times when you use quick-time events, that is, you press certain keys in a limited time to continue the story. The graphics present a low poly look that, although simple, is very beautiful and fits the history of the game with beauty and sensitivity. The soundtrack accompanies the narrative, bringing melodies that range from the beautiful to the melancholic.
Until this moment, Talara is in the development stage. You can check the gameplay of the game by clicking on this link here and, if you want to play it, just click on the link below:
