THEY WATCH: Your Acts are Not Unnoticed in this Horror Game

They Watch is a short first person survival horror indie game that was produced by dpStudios and published on January 3rd of this year, on the itch.io platform. At They Watch, you arrive at your vacation home after a long journey. You start to clean the place, but as the days go by, you notice that there is something strange, as if you are being watched in all your actions.

The game aims to build a horror/thriller atmosphere, without resorting to jumpscares, and in fact it manages to extract moments of tension from the player, through the use of simple but competent visual and auditory resources. Graphically, the game is very good, everything is very polished and well lit. Interestingly, the lighting gets a little saturated and dark as the days progress, a very interesting choice to enhance the horror mood. The gameplay is very simple, nothing very different from other indie games of the same genre.

EDIT (03/09/2022): On March 3rd of this year, we received an update that changes practically the entire game. This time, version 2.0 is titled "Jessica's Nightmare" and in this game, you control Jessica, who arrives at the cabin after a very long journey. However, she will soon discover that something is wrong in the surroundings of the place and that she feels that they are watching her. This new version features more objectives than the previous version, a larger exploration of the cabin, and six endings, which take place according to your choices.
