TYNK AND THE FINAL PHONORECORD: Follow the Journey of an #ExtremelyTalented Musician to Success

Tynk and The Final Phonorecord is an indie action-adventure game that is being produced by VirtualMoth and that published, on June 1st, 2021 (with an update made on January 8th of this year), on the itch.io platform, a demo version. In the game, you control Tynk, a musical artist who aspires to success and recognition in the mainstream music industry. After a long period of producing his record, it is finally finished and now his mission will be to show it to anyone interested in his music.

As stated above, the game is a combination of action and adventure with a strong emphasis on puzzles and creativity. The dynamic between various types of gameplay is noticeable here. At times you go from simple exploration to solving puzzles while trying to solve small events that require attention and patience. That in itself is something surprising, and that's not all: Tynk and the Final Phonorecord still has graphics and a soundtrack that seem to me to be heavily inspired by the Sega Genesis, but the game doesn't just stop at that, because at certain times, the look and the score radically change style, to something more elaborate and even evoking artistic paintings or more elaborate musical constructions.

Without a doubt, this game has enormous potential, with a fun story and a little serious when the situation calls for it. It's a game that we'll certainly be keeping an eye on when it's released in full.
